Thor Dubh soon grew to continue the Championship line by taking not one but TWO, (2), First Places in the International Highland show where he competed against counterparts from the US, Canada, Australia plus from numerous outstanding Scottish Highland breeding European Countries including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and more. His first born Bull that we named "Thor Dubh" of American Highlands Ranch did not wait long in following in the Champion Line footsteps of his Dad and Grandad. At the age of two, Wallace began his job of siring calves and passing on his exceptional blood lines.
We were and are very proud of William Wallace's success. “Knight” William Wallace’s outstanding genetics and appearance in his Bull Calf class has already been recognized by his having been named the 2016 National Western Stock Show’s Reserve Champion Intermediate Bull. The genetic matching, care, love, nutrition and training paid off as our “Black Knight” won a revered title at the National Western Stock Show. By his fourth month, we began his halter and show training. From the first days after he was born, we began working with "Sir" William's socializing.William Wallace turned out to be not only black in color like his Grand Champion sire but with conformation and appearance that near exactly matches if not supersedes the conformation and appearance of his Grand Champion dad. We achieved exactly what we were looking for when we matched William Wallace's Sire with the dam that we chose. As currently virtually all of our herd William Wallace comes from a very specific, genetically matched line.
